Irish Cream Iced Coffee with Matcha Cold Foam Recipe

Ingredients

20 grams coffee ground med-fine
150 grams ice
150 grams water at 203°F (95°C)
1 tbsp Irish cream flavored syrup (more or less to taste)

Directions

Grind coffee on medium fine setting, add 2 paper filters to the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap. Attach cap to AeroPress and add coffee to bottom chamber.
Add 150 grams of ice to glass of choice, Irish cream syrup, and then place AeroPress on top of glass and add 150 grams water to the AeroPress. (Water heated to 203 degrees Fahrenheit.)
Stir coffee for 10 seconds, allow to brew for 90 seconds.
Once time is up, plunge slowly until all coffee is out. (30 second plunge)
Add prepared matcha cold foam* to top of drink.
Optional: Dust matcha powder on top of drink.

*To make Matcha Cold Foam:

Ingredients:

4 tbsp heavy cream
2 tbsp whole milk
1 tsp matcha powder

Directions:

Add heavy cream and milk to separate cup.
Add matcha powder to milk mixture.
Using a hand frother, froth until foamy, almost whipped cream texture but not quite stiff peaks. You want it semi-runny.
